If you are not sure how to spend your outing as a family, try going to Mines Wonderland in Seri Kembangan, about 35 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur. This park used to have musical theme park and night show but has since closed these attractions. However, you will still be able to enjoy the cruise on the 150 acres open cast mining lake and take the Wa-Wa Splash Duck Tour.
The Water Taxi or Water Cruise is available from 9am to 9pm. The Wa-Wa Splash Tour is on from 11am to 5:30pm.
Water Taxi
Remember to hop on the water taxi and cruise along the 150 acre lake that used to be the largest open cast tin mine in the world. You will enjoy the cool breeze of the night as you sit and enjoy the scenery of the buildings in the vicinity of the lake.

Wa Wa Splash
Enjoy a time of splashing on the lakes at the Resort City with your family. Young children in particular will enjoy this 45 minutes ride.

Getting Here
This park is about 35 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur on the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway. Exit at the Mines Wonderland Resort City.
You can also take the KTM Komuter train and stop at Serdang Station. From here, cross the highway on the overhead bridge and walk for about 15 minutes to the park.
