This memorial service is to remember the fallen heroes of Petagas during the World War II. It will be held at Petagas Memorial Monument, Sabah.

27 Jan 2024: Kangar City Duathlon 2024

Join this event which starts with running, cycling and ends with running at Kangar, Perlis. Three groups of bike will be in use here i.e. Road Bike, Mountain Bike and Folding Bike.

Feb 2024 : A Radiant Red Celebration

This event is held to mark the beginning of the Chinese Lunar Year. It will be held at Central Market, KL. Various selections of cheongsams and other souvenirs can be bought here.

2-3 Mar 2024 : Borneo Ultra Trail Marathon

This outdoor marathon will go through the Kiulu Valley, Sabah with categories of 9km, 30km, 50km and 100km race to choose from. As this is a strenuous race, only those who are healthy are allowed to join.

April 2024 : Squid Jigging Terengganu

Known as "Candat Sotong", this is the season where you can get some squids off around Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang and Pulau Kapas in Terengganu. The venue will be held at Marang & Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.

10-11 April 2024 : Hari Raya Celebration

4-5 May 2024 : Borneo International Marathon 2024

This religious event is celebrated by the Buddhists in temples throughout Malaysia.

24-26 May 2024 : Cherating Tenggara Wind Challenge

Join the kite surfing, wind surfing and stand-up paddle board on the popular Cherating beach in Kuantan, Pahang. This event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC).

7-9 June 2024 : Malaysia International Dive Expo

This annual event held at Frasers Hill attracts bird watchers from around the globe. Teams are divided into groups to identify the birds here, many of them migratory birds from Siberia and Japan.

31 August 2024 : Merdeka Celebration

This day commemorates Malaysia's 67th year of independence or 'Merdeka' in Malay Language. See the open air concert on the eve of Merdeka day on 30 August. The colourful parade will be held on the morning of the Merdeka Day. The Merdeka day celebration is held in every major city in Malaysia.

25-26 Oct 2024 : Boom+ Kangar City Half Marathon 2024

If you are into running, join the 1km, 5km, 10km or 21km that will be held at Kompleks Sukan Tuanku Syed Putra. Take note that the starting time of the 42km is 12:01am.

Oct 2024 : Borneo Bird Festival

If you are into bird watching, this festival is a must as over 600 species of bird have been recorded in Borneo. There will be a Bird Race competition where a team of three must identify and record as many bird species as possible within 24 hours.
