If you have exhausted your energy walking and traveling around Putrajaya, the new capital administration of Malaysia, why not take a cruise on the man-made lake and see the city various landmarks in the comfort of the big air conditioned passenger boat.
For those who want to try the open air gondola type vessel, go in the evening at about 5pm or in the morning at about 10am as the weather can be quite hot in the noon time.

The bigger type cruise boat called Belimbing Passenger Cruise boat is an air conditioned boat that will take you round Putrajaya Lake for 45 minutes. The regular price of the cruise is:

Adult with MyKad: RM30.00 per person
Child with MyKid: RM20.00 per person
The operating hours is from 1:00pm to 6:00pm during the weekdays and the time is extended to 7:00pm during the weekends.

The other cruise is using gondola-like vessel which is called Dondang Sayang Perahu boat. It is a replica of the traditional fishing boats used in the East Coast of malaysia. The vessel is made locally using Chengal Mas, a local hardwood found in the forest of Malaysia. The route covered is from Putra Jetty to Seri Perdana Complex, taking a time of approximately 25 minutes.The regular price of the cruise is:

Getting to Putrajaya Cruise Jetty
You should be able to find this place easily as it is located near Dataran Putra, the biggest square near Putra Mosque.Walk down the steps from Dataran Putra and follow Cruise Tasik signage and you will reach the jetty in less than 5 minutes.The ticketing counter is located at Putra Jetty, underneath Putra Bridge.
