Tourism in Malaysia has recently being boosted with the introduction of Kuala Lumpur Hop On-Hop Off Bus where you will be able to hop on and off the specially designed buses for unlimited times. You just need to pay once and the ticket purchased will be valid for 24 hours or 48 hours depending on the type of ticket you purchased.

The double decker tour buses are equipped with English audio pre-recorded tour commentary of the city as they move around the different parts of the city. There are 3 monitor screens provided for your viewing and the facilities are disabled-friendly as well.

Trishaws are still being used in some parts of Malaysia such as Melaka and Penang.



KL Hop On Hop Off Buse



One of the nicely decorated and clean hop on-hop off bus rounding the city of Kuala Lumpur.




There are altogether 30 stops and over 60 attractions that you can visit using the hop-on hop-off bus. If you have the time, why not sit through the entire journey of the bus and listen to the commentary in your own language. It will take you 3 hours to go though the tour of Kuala Lumpur without getting down the bus.

Once you are familiar with the places of interest, you can then plan where to get down and visit the many attractions in the city. Make sure that you wait at the bus stops which have the hop on-hop off logo as the buses will make their stop here.





Schedule and Price of Tickets

Schedule : 9:00am to 8:00pm at 20-30 minutes interval

You have to be patient in waiting as punctuality is affected by the condition of the traffic in the city.

Price of Tickets for non-Malaysians

The tickets can be purchased on the bus, travel agents, hotels and agents that display the hop on-hop off bus logo.

Adult 24 hours pass: RM50 per person
Children  24 hours pass age 5 and above : RM25 per person
Students 24 hours pass : RM25 per person
Disabled persons 24 hours pass : RM25 per person

Family Package 24 hours: RM140 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children(5-12 years old)

Adult 48 hours pass: RM90 per person
Children  48 hours pass age 5 and above : RM45 per person
Students 48 hours pass : RM45 per person
Disabled persons 48 hours pass : RM45 per person

Children below 5 years old do not have to pay.
